Mr. Duff Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 And what’ this Lover vs Reputation again??? Both great albums but clearly Lover has been chosen by the GP, Reputation is more for the Swifties. 3
Ger Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Weeks in Top 10 36: Last Night 22: Fast Car 16: Cruel Summer 9: Paint the Town Red & Snooze 7: I Remember Everything 2: First Person Shooter, IDGAF & Thinkin' Bout Me 1: MONACO 1
Miles. Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Unfortunately for us Puta stans, L0SER is having its quick little singles moment this year. Let the little Loseracs enjoy this brief torrent of success. L0SER is nothing but a FAD and never will amount to anything more. Us Putaniators will have the last laugh. That's what happens when you stan TABS over fads Arts not the charts, I fear. 1 1 1

Unfortunately for Loser not every album can have multiweek AND year end #1 status. Let's take a look at Reputation's first 4 singles vs. Lover's LWYMMD (+851,936) vs. ME! (+317,104) ...Ready for It? (+682,223) vs. You Need to Calm Down (+524,880) End Game (+391,212) vs. Lover (1,881,928) Delicate (+870,607) vs. The Man (784,783) Reputation wins the pre 2020 battle fair and square So puta's 2023 chart run counts but not Lover's? Let's now add those streams to get the full picture, shall we? Puta's four singles: 2,795,978 Lover's first four singles: 3,508,695 The fact that this is supposed to be a win for puta shows how little the puta stans have left 1
Space Cowboy Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Hot take: both Lover and Reputation are mediocre albums 2 1
Blue Jeans Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Is this a record for the most number of weeks on the chart before climbing to #1 excluding All I want for Christmas is you?

Jamie Starr Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 (edited) The thought of Taylor passing up a few of our favs is worrying. However, it's refreshing to see a Pop song go #1 (and organically) instead of a random Drake album cut. That should restore a little faith that the genre isn't totally dead. I wonder how many more #1 hits Taylor has in her before ageism comes for her. Edited October 23, 2023 by Jamie Starr

The same album Loser stans tried to paint as forgotten. Enjoy this cute little W though 1

Is Puta outstreaming Lover, both currently or in total?

Cruel Summer Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 QUEEN OF BILLBOARD I've been holding this reaction in ALL day but ugh, we ******* did it, ten #1 smashes, twelve (and soon to be the magic thirteen) #1 albums, Midnights making it a full year in the top ten, what a year to be a Swiftie 1
liquiddiamonds Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 This was deserved and long coming. Didn't think her team would pull through with 1989 around the corner, but here we are

Getaway Car is the catchiest on the album (not the best), but I dont think it has the CS appeal Don't Blame Me could. People vastly overrate Getaway Car, it is a poor man's version of Cruel Summer 2
Green Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Creepin' survived Bad Bunny's album bomb Last week it had 45 weeks and this week it has 46 weeks so it's still on the chart: https://www.billboard.com/artist/the-weeknd/chart-history/hsi/ Karma didn't return. It's still recurrent
Raphy23 Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Most of Lover’s original singles are the lows of the album. Good thing the GP is streaming the non-singles on the album like Cornelia Street, Afterglow, Death by a Thousand, and False God. Puta’s album tracks are not even half as strong as those. 1
Green Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 Cruel Summer is also #1 in Canada: https://www.billboard.com/artist/taylor-swift/chart-history/can/ 5 1
