ATRL Moderator wehavetostan Posted March 15 ATRL Moderator Posted March 15 Not finished yet but I'm surprised by how mellow these songs are. Flo's label definitely told her to continue in the Never Lose Me lane 2
TheBoss Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Had no idea this was coming out today lmao, sad to see BGC getting axed
est. in 90s Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Understand, New Me, Edible, Tell Me What You Want and Neva are the standouts so far for me. I think I still favor You Still Here, Ho? better though.
EarStyle Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Edible needs to be a single asap. Going to listen to the rest later.
Alex Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 this album, just like her last one, is one of those albums that you just have to cherrypick your fave songs apart from the duds that fill up the rest of the tracklist. Edible is a smash tho 3
Jimmy. Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Really not feeling this as much as the first two Definitely some great songs but not feeling it as an entire album.
KatyPrismSpirit Posted March 15 Posted March 15 You Still Here Ho? is better than this album. I wish she would’ve came a little harder on this album
est. in 90s Posted March 15 Posted March 15 After repeated listens, Neva is the best song on the album. Glad she chose to shoot a video for it.
Alex Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 lots of track titles including a Latto collab that seem to be scrapped from its initial Nov. 2023 release slot
AdrianNicki Posted March 15 Posted March 15 This is her weakest project. I'm really disappointed, but at the same time, I kinda expected this to be the case. I've never liked 'Never Lose Me,' and it's clear she tried to follow this vibe for this project. I thought that SZA might make me like the song, but the remix is somehow even worse than the original. The rest of the album is so forgettable. The fact that some songs are just one verse + chorus doesn't help either. 'Tell Me What You Want' is the only song I like from this album. That song sounds like it belongs to a different, better project. Fruit Loop, Chocolate Rain and BTW were so much better and she scrapped all these songs for... this... 1
Alex Posted March 15 Author Posted March 15 failing to understand why this song didn't make it? is a dlx coming?
Jay L Posted March 16 Posted March 16 She ate with this album omg I love it! I wish some songs were longer but it is what it is lol. No skips though Understand, Got The Juice, Tell Me What You Want, Toast, Neva damn there's so many great songs
Jay L Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Also of course this album sounds more like Never Lose Me. She released lots of music last year that was great but unfortunately made little noise. Her last album which I LOVE and still play regularly never charted so she was right to switch it up a bit Her label needs to actually promote the album though not just Never Lose Me 1
GeminiCat Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I wish I liked this more considering the first two albums were top tier. I'm only really feeling Toast and Not Sorry
est. in 90s Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Neva, Not Sorry and Understand being the ones I keep coming back to the most
K$Ellie Posted March 16 Posted March 16 (edited) such a disappointment, Never Lose Me is the best song by far Understand, Edible and Tell Me What You Want are good too but I don't like the rest Edited March 16 by K$Ellie
Jay L Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Interesting choice to give a visual too. I hope this isn't the last video of the era
ATRL Moderator wehavetostan Posted March 17 ATRL Moderator Posted March 17 How did this do in terms of first day streams?
