Shake it off is the best, but that is not saying much.

The rape-glorification song is obviously the worst.

SIO and Shape of You (despite the latter being overplayed to death) are great songs.

Blurred Lines and All About that Bass are just “whatever” to me.

Happy though :rip:it’s so bland and palatable that it becomes paradoxically unlistenable. I will go out of my way to not hear it

Shake It Off > Shape Of You > Happy > AATB > Blurred Lines

All pretty bad. Meghan has so many better songs.

AATB is the best. Happy is a curse to Macy’s everywhere.

Happy is one of the worst songs from the early 2010s

You manage to pick the 5 most annoying hits of the last decade :jonny:

I can't really vote as I hate all of them :jonny:

Shake It Off is the best out of the “Overplay 5” while the worst is still Blurred Lines.

Tbh I don't get the hate Blurred Lines gets.

Best is Shake It Off - great teen-pop song, very catchy. Then Blurred Lines - great r&b club banger, but it's irritating after playling it on the loop for a while. Then Happy - I'm tired of it, it's still overplayed. Neither good nor bad song, just there was too much of it. Then Shape Of You - sounds like an unfinished demo, it doesn't have a catchy hook, just a bland song. It will always remain a mystery to me, why it was THAT big. And finally - the worst of those 5 songs, and one of the worst ever - All About That Bass. Damn, it was sooooo bad, this annoying doo-woop-style song, with annoying vocals, and annoying everything.

Happy didn’t age well, it’s kinda annoying to hear now.

Shake It Off and Shape of You are great pop songs. AATB is cute, and Blurred Lines, while very controversial, is a really catchy tune.
