As someone who studies and works on film…its rare that there’s not a diversity divide either on gender, age, or race. 

 

The MCU for example mostly sees white men between 18 and 30 as their primary demographic (with certain single film exceptions) whereas a film like say Where the Crawdads Sing had a massive (something above 60% if I recall) white female 18 to 30 as it’s primary demographic. A film like Get Out had a primarily black demographic. Different film types attract different crowds. 

 

So no not really. It isn’t often that a film comes along with an actual wide or even demographic diversity. 

 

Making this joke about Taylor’s demo really only seeks to make non-white Swifties feel alienated and forgotten.
