RideOrDie Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 upgrade from sour and she has improved a lot, not even a bad song on it tbh, but because it's not having the same level of smashery as sour the success stans on atrl won't acknowledge that 1 2
tili33 Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 listened to it once, and haven't thought of it since
Odette Violet Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 I'm a fan since I wasn't been much around during her Sour era
Roberto Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 One of the best albums released this year. Making The Bed ended discographies and that's that on that.
shookspeare Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 The upbeat songs are great but the ballads are more than forgettable, and unfortunately they make up about half of the album 2
Miss Harajuku Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 (edited) haven't given the songs i like much of a listen since its first two weeks of release tbh kinda forgettable Edited October 14, 2023 by Miss Harajuku
FailSafe Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 Didn't like Sour at all. GUTS is superior in every single way 1
WitnessOblivia Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 I still love it. I agree with people saying that it's not very eventful though.
Badgalbriel Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 I really can't stand the pop-rock sound overall, so it's a downgrade from sour, imo. She shines brighter when she sings ballads.
Asscatchem Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 i only use like 2 and half tracks it really did age terribly too safe overall, metacritic score was bought and paid for!
mypaintoyou Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 Only listen to it on release week abd time from time I’ll listen to get him back the only good song
nostalgic Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 I agree with others that it is somewhat forgettable but it's still one of my favorite albums of the year
JaXXXon Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 I'd have to say Pretty Isn't Pretty has been playing in my head a bit lately and it's a solid album. I wouldn't rate it fully yet in terms of how memorable it is as it's only been a month but I'd say Olivia impressed me and I am definitely closer to becoming a fan of hers more than any other of her peers (Billie, Dua, Doja, SZA).
Homebrand Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 The album itself is good, not revolutionary but any means but I use a handleful of songs from it. It's weird that it hasn't really taken off though, I was certain BIR would of been a decent sized hit (Get Him Back is pretty bad tho)
