base talk GUTS is a month old, how do you feel about it?

Quite honestly in contention for my album of the year. I love it a lot more as a whole than I did Sour. Also a perfect follow up for her. Excited to see where she goes from here

It’s not as good as Sour but I like it. BIR should be bigger

i love it and still use the tracks daily. 

 

however, it does feel kinda uneventful. i expected this album to be way bigger but it did kinda came and went. this is not entirely due to olivia but also because interscope did weird stuff with the roll-out and just basically going N/A when the album dropped. for some reason the gp didn't really connect as well to bir? and ghb! like they should've since those are some of her best tracks. the album is highly acclaimed and commercially successful regardless.

The album as a whole wasn't really my cup of tea. I liked Vampire when it first came out but haven't listened since the album release. The only song I really use is Love is Embarrassing
