His last album debuted with 275K.  It's great performance was driven by its longevity not a high debut week.

Not too far from his last album which wasnt a surprise release and had more acclaim when it came out so no matter how you feel about him these are exactly in his range.

he's much more known now and streaming is bigger, he should be doing above 275k

That is still not out of the question, this is only the prediction based on the 1st day.

Just imagine if he had dozens of vinyl variants ready for the first week

Bad Bunny's pure sales are always atrocious so it wouldn't make a difference.

Huh? Selling 200k units with a Spanish album is very obviously not a flop. There should be 0 essays required to understand this fact

Only 200k units is not THAT much considering how massive his previous album was, let's be honest here.

Your argument proves nothing doll.

Positions by Ari was coming off a #1 single and she was at her peak, yet she debuted with 175K. She had one of the biggest pop album a year earlier, and she's a major streaming power. x

Good for offset securing a top 10 debut.

BB’s numbers have to be an underperformance, right? I mean 200k is still awesome for a Spanish album but didn’t his last album do substantially more?

Dragging a spanish album for doing 199k is obviously silly but after UVST did 275k last year & had insane longevity i do think this debut is a little underwhelming

Lowkey shocked that Scarlet already fell out of the top 20. Will be interesting to see if anything gains traction after Paint the Town Red really winds down.

Very good numbers for bad bunny, but  this won’t have longevity like UVST. The reviews are mixed from

his fans & I don’t see any of my bad bunny friends who like him spamming his music like with UVST.

Either way to call this a flop when Doja Cat debuted to 50k is insane

But this Is the follow up just one year after than a 5m copies album. So It's different.

I don't remember the actual numbers but a debut for Katy Perry teenage dream with 200 k copies was good cause, She exploded with that album. If After 5 #1 singles and 5M copies the next album makes 150k is different.

I think it's still a great result and probably longevity will be here again but i think it's right to notice how he should have made at least very close numbers to the One before, like more 250-300k range ro be very positive. But still very good numbers of course.
