Rachel’s West Side Story co-star Ariana DeBose praised Gaga after winning the Best Supporting Actress Award at SAG, before eventually winning the Oscar. Rebecca Black cited Gaga and Madonna as her two biggest inspirations on her debut album, and said Gaga & Katy were two of the only artists to support her during her ordeal with Friday going viral.
