Monster Megamind Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 All polish voters beware... Duda will veto all the bills passed by the new government. Only in 2025, you can replace him. Till then maintain the same enthusiasm, even in the European elections next year!

Well, the opposition has enough votes to try Duda on the State Tribunal And they have more than enough to try him for, I hope they use that to negotiate with him. Most of the democratic coalition supports gay marriage, maybe they will be able to compromise with conservative parties of the coalition. Also it means stop of the government oppresion of LGBTQ+ people. Gay people were a scapegoats of the previous government and were slandered daily at some point on national news at prime time on a public channel 1

His term doesn't end til 2025 so we might have to wait another 2 yearsBut it's a MAJOR improvement nonetheless.
Monster Megamind Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 I had heard that Rzeszow is the place where all the Ukrainian refugees live. In spite of that, the polish voters from there voted overwhelmingly for PIS... No impact of multicultural experience....
