Taylor’s Delicate goes viral for bad dancing

Beyoncé may not write songs on her own, but her songs are FAAAAAAR more complex and interesting than anything Taylor's done.

Heck, 80% of Taylor's discography has the most basic chord progression (CGAmF) and ONE note melodies (she literally plays the same note over and over, and the only difference from song to song is rhythm and pitch). Swifties are musically illiterate and that's why they overrate her mediocre work.

That's not even true. You are the one that's clearly musically illiterate...

The fact that reputation was supposed to be about her being a bad b and she released this as a video

Hmmm. Maybe learn how to read, cause that's not the point of the album. It's about falling in love in the middle of the chaos.

yes she could

but taylor could never make an magestical album run like 4, self titled, lemonade and renaissance

You mean albums that not even her fans care about?

AS IF she could dance well if she wanted to... PLLLLLLZZZZZ

Do you really believe anyone cares if an artist can dance? It's 2023, grandpa. Dancing is literally not something people want.

The song isn't bad but this is genuinely the worst performance I have ever seen. I don't get why they did not cut these parts.

Because that's what the video is supposed to look like

That is the point, she knows she can’t dance and normally therefore doesn’t dance out of embarrassment, when she is invisible, she no longer cares. The way y’all are so dense out of hatred :deadbanana4:

Shes still giving it her all.and this IS her all, so theres no room to argue. She factually cant do better, as you stated lol

talking about musical illiteracy but posting dumb stuff like this:

No she couldn't. Her writing camps mostly make music about how rich she is and how good sex with her feels. They don't have a lot of range.

The narratives the swifties have to tell to themselves because the theme wasn't well executed :rip:

The theme is literally there if you read the lytics. No one needs to tell themselves anything.

I’m laughing at some people leaving like 8 comments in here.

Taylor is a pretty crappy dancer, so they used it in the plot of this music video since it’s not like she had to unlearn a skill.

That being said, people criticizing her lack of dancing is still fair considering she dances frequently on tour… don’t make me find that wiggling dance gif of her.

The theme of the album is extremely clear.

Quote

[Reputation] was interesting because I'd never before had an album that wasn't fully understood until it was seen live. When it first came out everyone thought it was just going to be angry; upon listening to the whole thing they realized it's actually about love and friendship, and finding out what your priorities are.

The obsession Beyonce fans have with Taylor is really insane.

They are probably bitter that Beyonce didn't have Taylor music career.

this coming from someone who visits the beyoncé base more often than half the hive members on this site :deadbanana:

ZERO self awareness it’s kinda concerning atp

OT : this thread :mummy: y’all saw a random tweet and said "how can we make this about Beyoncé"

How is she giving it her all? The scene was choreographed to look awkward and cringey, it's not "her all" by any means.

The point is Swifties are PRETENDING she's dancing bad on purpose, but in reality she can't dance any better than that.

She’s dancing carefree and enjoying herself, and it is bad a result, she’s directly referencing the critiques of herself and deciding to not care anymore because no one can see her :deadbanana4: Do y’all only enjoy Disney channel original movies that shove the point in your face? :deadbanana4:

Literally not one Swiftie thinks Taylor is a perfect dancer, nobody cares about that :deadbanana4:

mte wasnt it purposely supposed to be cheesy/bad

People care about Taylor's dancing more than they care about the dancing of the "dancing" pop girls. The dancing industry, me thinks :clap3:

Her first "official" POP music video, Shake It Off, is making fun of her dancing. She's been laughing at the fact that she can't dance for a decade, and no one who likes her music cares.

…exactly :deadbanana4: :deadbanana4: Literally nobody is saying she can dance well, she has decided to not care and dance anyway. :deadbanana4:

Y’all have created this entire straw man argument about something that nobody has claimed. Saying ~lol Taylor ca5 dance~ is not the drag you think it is, because nobody claimed otherwise. Taylor dances because she enjoys it for the simple joy of it, not because it looks perfect. That is what people relate to. Beyoncé dances perfectly, and others enjoy that because they aspire to be a perfect dancer like her because that is something they care about. Some enjoy both artists because they can connect to both of those ideals. That is what some of y’all fail to understand or don’t want to understand :rip:
