Kate. Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 187k? Surely this will beat the original predictions, they just put too much into this for it not to.
infrared Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 with all this promo, and still less than Joanne This I took in NYC yesterday

And it's not like she's not known for inflating her album sales with various gimmicks, so not understanding why yall are attacking katy for doing the same. And nobody this time around expected Gaga to outdo Katy and she did just that, despite less promo and not having a ticket bundle. Swings in roundabouts, time to take what was dished out. Monkey_Juice Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 I think she did okay 200k would have been nice but it's whatever, The album is definitely an underperformance.

h.u.r.r.i.c.a.n.e Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 why is it only one stanbase being so extra about these numbers? lead singles are debuting with 30k, these numbers are quite good for 2017. CTTR was 4 months ago. Since then she's only had two polarizing flops and non-stop media backlash. Not to mention her album was expensive as **** These numbers are good.

Because Katy stans told me she'd be competing with Ed this era, not Lady Antebellum.
OnMyOwn Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Underwhelming but not bad . Hopefully another hit gives it some longevity

muddysquirrel Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Did they really hope this album not to flop with a slogan like "eye-opening pop"?

You can't drag an artist for four years and when your fav debuts with less sales than the other artistst despite all the gimmicks just throw a and pretend the numbers are okay

Mr. Grey Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 (edited) WHEW. The fact that Katy has not even promoted in the US that much and selling on-par with some albums with lots of promo says a lot how much SHE is still the most powerful Woman in the WORLD (and US). WHEW. I´m glad I stan for talent and SALES. Edited June 16, 2017 by Mr. Grey
