It should of been.  She had a ballad as a lead last era too.  But oh well people seem to like Vampire so maybe it's a good idea she dropped that one first idk :gaycatx:

I mean i get why " bad idea" would've been more of an...instant uptempo hit and especially the appeal it would get as a lead from her. But Vampire is incredible, became a hit but it should've been more of a hit though.

I wonder if they switched the order, would that have worked slightly better?

Should have been Making The Bed, but BIR is cute too.

He was right. Should’ve been:  BIR - Vampire - Love Is Embarrassing

And he was right. Best song on the album

Side note, Interscope really messed up this era with the singles :rip:

BIR is the better song but, it's at best a slow burn deja vu sized so idk if it's lead material vampire is also obviously the heart of the record. :swan:

And, the quote ignoring Olivia's taste wanting to lead with teenage dream which clears both :monkey:

A literal bad Idea. Love Is Embarrassing should've been the lead. GUTS would've opened with 500k

I think BIR should've been the lead single and Vampire the 2nd. That would've given the era more longevity singles-wise.

It should’ve been

get him back! was the right answer and I'm surprised no one in her team fought for that

you should've said GUTS' in the thread title

it shouldve been. vampire was terrible and boring. BIR is so unique and FUN. couldve easily been g4u 2.0 with the lead push

He's right. Vampire is cute but should have stayed an album track. Not sure how it’s doing now but pre album release it just seemed like it was there. It was a mistake to release Vampire over the summer and now it seems like BIR and GHB got lost in the shuffle

Yeah vampire sucks ass and that’s why Morgan returned to #1. GUTS could’ve controlled the charts if BIR or GHM came before.

b-but Get Him Back is the ‘focus song’

BIR is the best track but Vampire was a good transition between eras

GHB was cute the first 20 listens but its so boring now :deadbanana2: BIR >>>

love is embarrassing is great but honestly kind of basic and not unique. like any disney band in the 2000s couldve released that

Does anyone know what’s the plan this era? I thought they were gonna go all out with GHB and make that the big next single? But I don’t really hear it anywhere

no one knows it's so messy. bad idea right is apparently the second single but it doesn't actually have an official impact date yet and is only being played on two formats.

get him back push stopped after week 1 (but honestly good idea because the gp wasn't really connecting)

her team is stupid, bad idea right should be top 20 on radio rn and then they should be pushing a third single
