Why would she vanish at the (current) apex of her career?

By 2025, the hysteria will be subdued. The Eras Tour definitely resembles a Greatest Hits tour, and the SB would be the perfect finale to end this era. The girl is definitely taking a break after all of this regardless. I’m sure she wants to sit down, get married, start a family.

Disappearing for even half that would do massive damage

Damage to what? Her incredibly established career? She’s more than good. :rip:

I’m starting to think that TS11 could be a 25 sized first week event :deadbanana2:

Oh yes. TS11 will debut bigger than Midnights (and 1989TV too, if it passes that).

Did Taylor get involved in a Senate race a few years ago and her candidate lost in a landslide?

2018

R - 1,227,483 (54.7%)

D - 985,450 (43.9%)

2012

R - 1,506,443 (64.9%)

D - 705,882 (30.4%)

Very red state either way and much harder to swing than states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia where few ten thousands votes would be enough to make a change.

I suppose. At this point, she’s one of those few artists who can go away for 10 years, and come back & still sell out every stadium and album on the shelf.

If the themes in Midnights are any indication, settling down at this point in her life is precisely what she does not want to do.

And even if she wants a family or something, that doesn't mean she will stop making albums. I'm sure TS11 is already done.

She really is experiencing one of the biggest musical/celebrity peaks in history.

There’s no denying it.

She backed a Democrat in deep red Tennessee and they lost? Shocker! :foxaylove2:

Part of me wants her to pull off 1,989,000 somehow but another part of me would be inexplicably angered that she couldn’t move the 11,000 copies more to have a 2M opening :dies:

If she sells 1,989,000 copies, I’m going to think we live in a simulation and she found the cheat code.

She'd have to do more than 1 milli in sales and another 600k with streaming, is that even doable with the TV?

Not saying she cannot do it with I don't wanna set her up either lol.

2019-2021: „Yeah, the days of her debuting with 1 Million are over.“

2022 and onwards: Another 1.5 Million+ debut with a rerecorded album?

Truly the only female artist that has the potential to reach MJ & Madonna's level of absolute stardom.
