It seems like the PC thing was to support Palestine before, but what Hamas did was so horrifying it has made a lot of people side with Israel and consider their actions to be justified. 1

Jamie Lee Curtis is not a bad person for showing support for the people of Israel for suffering, the place of her heritage. People are doing the absolute most on some woman just not wishing for harm to others and act like she literally wants the people of Palestine dead in some weird obsessive way Both sides have done bad things and people of all kinds are different and governments are different from people. In addition, terrorist groups are different from innocent people and governments. There are so many different levels of involvement I hate when people generalize entire countries as a whole unit or think of the people being the same as the government. I wish people didn't just condemn others for not sharing their exact views, though ultimately big picture still both wishing for peace and justice. At the end of the day most people on ATRL and otherwise regardless of personal beliefs on the situation in detail know that terrorism and harming others is wrong and does not support that no matter who does it. I feel like so many try to sound smarter or try to seem more moral for some weird ego thing and try to make this more about themselves and their beliefs being right over just condemning terrible acts and people regardless of affiliation 4 3
