dumbsparce
By this point in her career, Rih had already entered semi-retirement and had like 30 musically-diverse global hits. Dua's entire career is compressed in the GGGB era. She's clearly not aiming for a Rihanna career anw. I'm sure she's going to achieve even greater things and create her own lane. She’s definitely been consistent but Rihanna didn’t cement her status until her third album. Give it time. If her next project is anything like FN, she will be.
Kiss It Better
def not Rihanna but maybe more of a British/european Katy, but by this point in her career Katy has had 7 #1s and Dua has none, but Katy has 0 Grammys while Dua has 3 so yeah i guess they're comparable

Relampago.
I think Doja is the closest as long as she can keep her momentum up. She has the bad girl image and the hits and is more of a singles artisté. Dua is kinda more like a Katy at this point, which isn’t a bad thing considering where Katy was 2 albums in like Dua is, and there’s no reason that DL4 will be a Witness unless she ****s up like Katy did
Apolonio
She’s not even a fraction of a Rihanna.

Damien M
That would be Doja Cat. She’s giving fashion plus music like Ri. Her current era reminds me of Rated R. Edited October 6, 2023 by Damien M
Ron Ng
She's more like this generation's Katy. Hit after hit after hit, no big fanbase and he GP would drop her when the music sucked Billie = Gaga Dua = Katy Olivia = Taylor Ariana = Rihanna

GoodGuyGoneGhetto
The Katy Perry of the 2020’s, moreso. That said, she has a cool factor and s*x appeal that is from the school of Rihanna so she’ll last longer.
lonnie
No, but that's fine as she's doing just well being herself.

Erreur2 La Nature
I've always agreed with this comparison. Both of them have been focused on their singles. Dua is following a similar path. They're loved for their image and their fun singles. They're not known for their performances, etc. Dua is cool just like Rihanna was cool when she was releasing.
