As a big fan of both, Taylor will outgross and that's okay. She appeals to different demographics of people to who Beyoncé appeals to and vice versa. That's gonna yield different results for both artists.

 

The fact they're both giving us their concert films in theatres this year after only beginning a few months ago is amazing and I'm glad they're still as excited about their art as we are about said art!

It's one thing when I see some swifties who are consistently good about trying to stay out of the fights but it's something different coming from certain users who I've seen trashing Taylor in the name of Beyonce within the past week 

 

I think we all knew it would be this way, but it's good to see the numbers put to paper like this. I'd be surprised if this does more than 50M US OW, which is fine enough for a tour film in theaters but is obviously and objectively less successful than other concert releases this year. I'm sure the discord is organizing how they're going to move the goalposts now

Not surprised. I’m super excited for the Ren film and have zero interest in seeing the Eras Tour movie but this was common sense. The Eras Tour is (sadly) just objectively way more popular.
