Im quivering!! I wonder if it’s going to be more like Homecoming with BTS/raw footage or something more visually immersive.

Good exciting, i know yeezy and coldplay fans enjoyed the screenings of their faves material in cinema years before too :gayriahcat2:

She better drop it Imax or Dolby.

I love theater releases for concerts, it's such a nice thing for fans who weren't able to attend the show.

I mean artist used to release a dvd/Blu-ray of their shows with extra content as well :thing:

Hopefully it’s a one weekend only event (to max out on hype and attendance) :duca:

and nothing but fume for badgalriri stans :sistrens:

OT: she should release it on Dec 22 so that christmas films will move forward and flop (not sure if she can but its gonna be funny)

It's both hilarious and sad at the same time that some ATRLers are so chronically online that they can't relax and just enjoy this without worrying about the numbers :toofunny3:

This place (stan culture) is so Toxic.mp3 :gaycat6:

But we can't scape :rip:

Was this actually professionally recorded at any shows? Was there an announcement?

Houston and possibly NOLA

But I think its very possible she will be using footage from the entirety of the tour with the majority taking place over these most recent shows. I can’t imagine a world where she is not showcasing the fashion for every show.

I think most dates will be shown in some way, but the main show will be Houston.

Now that I think about it, there were notices when I went to the DC show. I guess it's possible she filmed a bunch of shows.

Off topic, but was it ever determined why she randomly brough back Thique / AUIYM / DIL for the shows after DC? I was LIVID she didn't do them that weekend :rip:

I hope its happening globally too and being announced later.

I really really doubt the visuals are part of it though. Seems like Variety was just guessing to me, and it makes zero sense. This won't be 5hrs :skull:

It sounds more like it will be like homecoming. BTS/Making of the tour, the actual tour, and showcasing the visuals.

It is weird though, the original teaser of the visuals makes it seem like they would be a standalone project, I don’t see why they wouldn’t still be but who knows maybe she scrapped the initial idea.

If Dec 1st date is true that’s probably the best release date they could choose. It’ll probably get the IMAX and Dolbys til Wonka comes out the week after.

Are you all f*****g dumb? Hannah Montana did the concert to theatrical release first. Not tay or bey.

Our favs are taking notes from a fictional pop star and thats the real conversation to be had. :cm:

But in all seriousness I feel bad for anyone who doesn’t want to watch both. Missing out on history for what?

Hmm. I can see that happening too. I think the best scenario for me would be releasing this concert film with some BTS/making of the tour in theaters and then dropping the visuals on a streaming service alongside it a month later. It would get more hype and bring more people to check it out.

it could be a visuals-tour-documentary triple whammy, based on this :jonny:

Watch the visuals in question be the interludes.

Some of y’all worried about comparisons when you can’t compete where you don’t compare

Taylor is obviously going to obliterate Beyonce’s numbers as she’s been doing with the tour, and that’s a given, so there’s no comparison :toofunny3:

Also, it’s cool to see Beyonce follow in Taylor’s footsteps :ducky:

She knows theres a lot of anticipation and desire for the visuals. I don’t think she would just lump in some of the visuals she filmed into the concert film and call it a day. I hope they are released separately but close to the movie because there’s no point to drag it out any further
