I don't know why the Hive is so viciously aggressive towards people with a different opinion.

Truly the most violent of all fan bases.

LOL, just say you are fragile and move on.

Most of the responses towards you were tame and only disagreed with you.

The use of the words "premium" "cherish" "adoration" "once in a lifetime" in this thread- get ahold of yourselves :deadbanana2:

All of those things apply though.

Beyoncé is a premium artist, as evidence by the continual quality she puts out time and time again and her reputation as one of the greatest performers of all time. People therefore cherish her, as she has given us consecutive great works since 2013, and so the adoration comes naturally. Her releasing a film in theatres indeed feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience considering she has never done this so soon after a tour ended, and one that itself was its own cultural moment. When else are you going to go experience the RWT in theatres?

If fans feeling this way about their fave bothers you so much, get ahold of yourself. It shouldn't bother you.

Premium just sounds wrong, tbh. Is she a subscription service now? A VIP membership card? Lol.

Here is the context of the use of "premium" that that user apparently took issue with:

"I was able to get a discount bc I’m a movie club member and had credits on my account. still got charged for the premium upgrade but spent a total of $27 for 2 tickets"

"OF COURSE Beyonce ($28) & Taylor($26) were going to charge a premium... who honestly didnt see that coming??? Some fans got HBO subscriptions just to watch Lemonade for crying out loud. Motha's always been a premium girl."

Neither of these instances seem to have used it out of place. That user just has an issue with people talking about Beyoncé using words that accurately describe the situation.

Taylor has no contract about her masters, she is just re-recording her albums which is totally different than how Beyonce owned her albums.

So she still doesn’t have the masters to the new ones either?

What? Of course she owns the new masters. That's the whole premise of her Universal deal.

Tour footage?

Yeah, I’m good.

I don’t need to rewatch a tour I’ve been too twice at a cinema when all I want are the f*cking epic music videos.

:doc:

Anyway…

Same!

wait....the tour is over?

Is this film having a WW release?

Now that there’s info. about the Ren. music videos being included in the film, I’ve changed my mind…

:bird:

Will this be released in the U.K?

:'(

I think it will, and that dates/tickets just haven't been announced yet.

Canada's came yesterday, the day after the US.

If they don't release in the U.K. that would be quite weird.

the final date was Oct 1 in Kansas City, but there are a lot of rumors of her bringing it to Australia and Latin America next year.

Wait all this uproar about the supposedly too high ticket prices and my tickets were not even $28...a whole $6 cheaper!? ALRIGHT.

Kinda feel like it HAS to come with a live album, no?

I mean... all her tour DVDs have except Wembley.

And since she put such a focus on vocals on this tour, you'd think she'd want to cement that too? I duno, hopeful thinking but...

Taylor's impact never ceases to amaze me. The most powerful star in recent years.
