Schoolin' Life Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Maybe opening act will be cut out to make room for some actual visuals?
Starshine Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) She’s still doing the whisper talking after getting beaten by James Corden’s bigass. The half asleep voice notes transitioning to her serving cvnt during Cozy is like going from Oppenheimer to Barbie. Edited October 2, 2023 by Starshine 5

aesthetic bih Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) I don't get why she'd scrap the Renaissance visuals. Even if it's just shots of her in Renaissance photoshoot outfits with a little bit of dancing (based on the little clips we got), I feel like it would still look gorgeous and visually-appealing Edited October 2, 2023 by aesthetic bih
campelo Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 I am confused with the duration, would love to have the full concert + 30 min doc, the visuals can wait.

Shinning Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 I hope she puts the audio on streaming like in Homecoming. The live versions of the Renaissance songs are next level.
wantedyoutogrow Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 if the movie includes bts footage, concert footage AND the music vides how is it only 2 hours and a half?
Cbreezy Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 Gagged, as I knew I'd be. After all, it's...Beyonce. I have a few thoughts, though. This is literally serving Homecoming pt.2. I'm used to Bey pushing the envelope. Surely, the innovation here isn't just it being in theaters? Reading all the behind the scenes articles, I kinda get the sense that this all came together quite quickly. At least this iteration of the film. The shooting, the deal, and the Dec release. If it's solely and purely a RWT doc film, that's kind of at odds with what were told she had been "working on for years" (from Rolling Ray and even the initial Variety article). As that was billed as centering on the tour, the making of the album, deeper insights into her family, and possibly the visuals. The trailer gave some of that not all. I suspect there will be an extended trailer with...more. Something tells me the trailer isn't showing the tea-tea. Whatever that means. 2 1

TaylorNation Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 not concert “highlights” I don’t want to see Beyoncé waxing philosophical about life in black and white grainy footage instead of a performance 1 1

Tangane Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 So no words on this movie being shown outside the US? And will it be available on streaming at some point? I'm kinda dreading having to share my first viewing with a bunch of strangers... I already did that when I went to the tour haha!
BnPac Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 1 hour ago, Bicassie said: I think she’s rushing this out to hold us over since visuals are clearly mega delayed for 2024 Well there's no rush, it came exactly after the last show of the tour. But I get what you mean. ------ Frankly the trailer does not tell me anything. Someone said it was more Homecoming-wish but after Maya Angelou's speech, Homecoming's trailer dived directly into just full concert clips. This seems vague either on purpose or because they were late. 1

truthteller Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 (edited) maybe it's something close to Circus Maximus... with music video and concert footage? Edited October 2, 2023 by truthteller
