Literally Beyoncé comes second

everything Taylor is doing somehow Beyoncé is attached too

it’s annoying but I mean it’s a smart business move to copy steps from the biggest artist in the world

I just hope the Beyoncé fans come out and show up at the movies like the swifties are for miss swift

they also wanted to include Beyoncé to Barbie and Taylor it’s like enough

Swifties trying to rewrite history. Taylor has always done what Beyoncé (and other artists) have done first. Beyoncé did a concert film in theaters for limited release years ago

“Beyoncé copied the contracts”

if amc offered her the same deal they offered taylor when she wanted to do a theatrical release of her videos/concert/whatever film is coming, was she supposed to say “no, that’s too similar to what you gave taylor swift. I want less money!” :ahh:

given that studios and streaming services rejected her film, i dont think she has better deal than this :sistrens:

Even if it wasn’t AMC, they would still be all over the thread.

Even when Beyoncé simply report her tour gross like every artist has done before, it was related to their fave because she didn’t do it. So it’s whatever.

Yes because you were in those rooms with her and her team. Tell me more we’re all dying to hear about it:celestial3:

Except AMC didn't offer Taylor a deal. Taylor's team went directly to AMC with their idea to skip studios altogether and let AMC distribute the film. This is not something AMC came up with. Beyoncé releasing her visuals/tour this way is only possible because Taylor paved the way for this release strategy to happen in the first place

Most likely just the interludes she filmed specifically for the tour.

Like this one for example

I doubt this is part of the music video/film she did for the album itself

Ahhh. I’m seated anyway. I wish i could experience the tour again but this will do :clap3:

A surprise release or pre-orders for Act II starting on December 1st would be great.

IMO, I highly doubt the full tour is included since the film is under 3 hours. Also, unlike Homecoming, the bio of the film says “documentary” instead of “concert film”. I think the style of the film will be a mixture of both Life Is But A Dream & Homecoming.

Someone else couldn’t get a good deal so had to go with AMC, or are you forgetting that. :bibliahh: they didn’t want to pay her.

I've honestly been wanting to catch a flight so I can relive the show again so this is great news for me and my wallet :weeps:

Yup this is not AMC deal

This was the idea of Taylor, her team and her parents which AMC agreed to and now Beyoncé copied.

if this was AMC thing it would be very different. Taylor and her team crafted this idea lol

They didn't want to pay her this way cause Taylor wanted to release using different strategy of making movie available only on weekends and on the price which Taylor wanted. They wanted to release on streaming etc..

So this idea got accepted by AMC and now that same idea Bey is copying

AMC didn't come up with this. She and her parents did.

but we wanted the visuals too :chick3:

no, they wanted to send it to theaters in 2024, which taylor and family didnt like. meaning they wanted it but the deals were sh*t she contacted AMC CEO directly.

meanwhile, no studios and streaming services wanted beyonces film despite it was done in November 2022 :sistrens:

Except this is not true judging from the reports we have. Multiple traditional Hollywood studios were interested in distributing The Eras Tour, as Puck News reported:

Quote

Sure, doing a deal with Swift might anger AMC’s Hollywood partners, especially since those studios were also interested in the project.
[…]
For that reason, Universal is understandably extra-pissed. Its biggest customer swooped in and took a movie it had been talking about distributing

Taylor went with AMC because the studios wanted to release the concert film in 2025, not because they didn't want to pay her.
