This was probably already planned by her team months before but it will cannibalize Ren's numbers. Now that Ren is at 1.9M units, with visuals released traditionally it would reach 2x Platinum before Christmas and I am not sure if this will perform well in the theatres.

Whether it's the tour or the visuals, I hope there's gonna be a streaming release as well. I'll go to the theater but I want to watch this pro-shot slayage multiple times, whenever I want.

I guess the difference between concert tours that were shown in theaters in the past and now is that artists used to have a distributor but now they're negotiating directly with the movie chains, bypassing movie studios and distributors completely. Swifties claim Taylor was the first to do this, but I'm not sure. I need to do some research.

 

I don't know what concert tour are you talking about because AFAIK "I Am... Yours" wasn't released in theaters. This is Beyoncé's first tour released in theaters I think.

Taylor’s the biggest artist in the world right now yet they’re still bothered by Beyoncé’s moves and achievements.
 

Perhaps Swifties will be satisfied if every other female artist is obliterated from existence and the industry comprises their Taylord and her exes only.
