 All of these stories come from her PR team.  You Swifties actually think these tabloids know stuff like this about someone as guarded and secretive as Taylor Swift? You think they just happened to be there when her and Sophie decided to go to dinner? Like, how would these gossip rags even know this kind of intimate, personal stuff unless someone from Swift's team told them?

 

And it is not a bad thing. It is good PR for her. Some of you guys do not understand how PR works and it shows. You do not have to be "irrelevant" to do PR stunts like this. Taylor is meticulously obsessed with her image and brand (for good reason) and stuff like this keeps her name in people's' mouths while also courting good will with the public. She is deathly afraid of getting the kind of backlash she did several years ago so she makes sure everything is picture perfect. There is a reason every little thing Taylor does gets reported on: her PR teams makes sure it does. It is impressive, really. Most of the time this kind of stuff results in people being turned off because of the overexposure, but so far Taylor has been unaffected by that because of how good she is at choosing the right things to leak to the press.

Taylor's team doesn't talk to Page Six, so whoever chose to publicize it came from somewhere else. As I said before, it could be Sophie's team (who want to publicize the good deed to make Joe Jonas look even worse), or more likely it's someone who heard about it from a friend of a friend who wanted to get a quick buck or even have their information out in the limelight. Either way, Taylor had no ulterior motives here because Taylor didn't publicize it. If she had, the story would've been in People. 

Why do you Swifties get so mad at the idea of Taylor engaging in PR stunts? A PR stunt does not equal "ulterior motive" or "being fake". It is just what a mega star like Taylor does. She can do something good for a friend because she genuinely wants to while also reporting it to the press. And tbh, she probably even asked Sophie if she would be okay with putting the story out because from everything I have heard about her, she is a thoughtful person like that.

 

This is something you guys should actually be bragging about. There is no other popstar in history as good at PR as Taylor. It further shows what a good businesswoman she is.

I just KNOW if Sophie was divorcing a guy not named Joe Jonas, she wouldn't be helping her or hanging out with her. It's so transparent what she's doing...

 

But whatever. At least the kids will have a nice place to stay for the time being.

If you think this is what went down you clearly don’t know a thing about how Taylor handles PR If Sophie one day said in an interview that “Taylor asked if she could leak my family’s location for her own good PR”, that would cause a major backlash for Taylor. Taylor is not stupid enough to put people in a position to say bad things about her.
