Because this perpetuates the expectation for abuse victims to be infallible and pure at all times when, in reality, abuse victims often experience high degrees of volatility and become different people while caught in the relationship. Reactive or defensive aggression is also common.

This is exactly why everyone turned on Amber and why anti liberal wokeness is growing all over social media. SO many excuses to justify ANYTHING she did wrong, there is just no way anything she's ever done wrong was her own fault.

I'm speaking from the experience of someone who has worked with and clinically assessed (via psych evals and psychosexual evals) abuse victims in a professional setting. It has nothing to do with "far left activism" or "SJW." The point is that a person does not have to be free of mistakes or poor decisions to be a victim of abuse and that it IS common for victims to go down a path of poor decision-making and volatile emotionality during and/or after the abuse. Those same behaviors are often used by the perpetrator to vilify the victim while gaslighting to perpetuate the abuse or in court as a defense. 

 

The fact remains the UK court found 12 instances of verifiable abuse perpetrated by Depp. That's more than most victims ever get as the vast majority of abuse cases do not result in any sort of legal proceeding. Convictions for the abuse itself are even rarer and much of that is because of the widespread ignorance of the behavioral functioning associated with abuse, such as the content of your post. You'd prefer to ramble on about liberals rather than to gain a better understanding of this case or the experience of abuse victims.

People should actually read the case against Johnny Depp in the UK instead of watching 50 second TikToks of his insane fans spewing propaganda. But I guess putting any effort into something instead of hate binging content is too much to ask.
