It’s not as good as Seven but the chorus is strong and sounds like another hit. It’s definitely Timberlake and 00s Pop’n’B influenced, which is a good thing. I didn’t mind Harlow’s verse but the end of his outro was cringe.

 

I like the « and if you let me » part. C’mon consent.

To think V was going to be the break out star of BTS 

I don’t get this. V has always been a fan of slow R&B/Soul/Jazz and his voice is far more suited to that than pop. It’s great that he wasn’t stopped from doing the music he wanted to and he has done it well. It was just never going to have widespread success. Jimin’s debut was the one misstep imo… but that’s what happens when you can’t sing live.

 

JK, with his clean, versatile voice, dance and image has always had the biggest mainstream potential imo. There’s a reason why he was both the lead and center.

It’s good although Seven was definitely the best choice for the lead single.

 

I feel like Latto really added to Seven while Jack Harlow is just kinda there.

His music videos don't look that expensive compared to BTS videos and I don't think Jack Harlow and especially Latto features cost much lol

I enjoy the song but I feel like this will do more like Butter than Dynamite in terms of legit long success. Seven was just too good in all aspects.

 

Can't wait for his EP/albums. Please no more collabs though unless they are A-list, Jungkook.

The lyrics are much stronger here than Seven, but given the connections they have with Scooter Braun the songs/course are underwhelming.
 

JK was always gonna be that member who would have been pushed the most, but if V could sing better, he would have also been pushed more. He has the looks and I like the type of music he puts out, but it’s hard to listen to the songs because he struggles vocally.  
 

At least with Jin, you can actually see he tried to improve his voice.
