Cruel Summer Posted September 23, 2023 Share Posted September 23, 2023 Top 3 on the album next to Right Where You Left Me, ended me on release day and I’m still dead to this day I literally cried just to the intro once when I got a little too drunk, like it’s just that good The first time I heard it on the night the album came out was the moment I understood Evermore’s parallels to Red, which was my favorite album until then. I realized I could love this one even more, and by the end of the album, I did. Evermore has only grown on me with time, it’s a part of me now; this song more so than almost every other.
