but atrl told me that nowadays you can make a living by literally playing games online, selling dick pics, uploading meditation videos made by AI on YouTube or even selling art projects on Etsy and have it reach a global audience within no time and thats just online there are handful of 6 months courses you can take that will give you a decent start in High Tech  from which you can start saving money and build a real career

To be clear, the major label deal didn't help her much.

 

But the only money going to Sony is the money being currently generated from Gucci Gucci and other songs on her 2012 album on streaming. Gucci Gucci only has 36 million streams on Spotify so likely isn't generating much money at all. She doesn't need to pay Sony any money outside that. She doesn't have to pay them anything when she tours or releases new music.

 

Sony gave her an 1 million dollar advance for her 2012 album and she admitted that instead of recording music  "So I’d be sitting in the studio, drinking lean, smoking weed, getting drunk, not recording anything for a week, not knowing that all that was $25,000[for the studio time]."
