Fastlane Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 I love this song, but it's like 64 kbps.
perfectillusion204 Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 A 13 year old song on YouTube with 4 million views is not popular, girl 1 11
Leppie Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Definitely Hips Don't Lie.. especially her vocals 5
Slamless Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 As incredible and iconic as it is, Crazy in Love is literally clipping at times 3

OnlyManInTheWorld Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 I always felt like Brendon’s vocals in ME! were much louder than Taylor’s, especially towards the end of the song. Like you can barely hear her when they sing together. 1
Atlantis Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 I find Hips Don't Lie unlistenable. She sounds so loud, you can barely hear the instrumental 1
Frogger17 Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 I don't know who mixed and mastered this, but everything about the chorus is off.

Futile Odds Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 (edited) The production on this song isn't poor overall, but the random beat skip here (for like a split second) has always bothered me. It sounds like such an obvious glitch to me. It's on Spotify like this too. More generally, some tracks on Back to Black intentionally have that '60s distortion/clipping, which can become a little grating after a while (as much as I love that album). Just a Gay on ATRL Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Hips Don’t Lie sounds off on AM to me when I play it
Dolce Vita Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 (edited) so many 2010-11 songs sound like they were recorded on potatoes Edited September 20, 2023 by Dolce Vita

HDL's drums are so flat and the vocals so overwhelming; and there's literally a gap at the beginning of CIL. B'Day, as amazing as it is, could also do with a remaster. OT: I get that Kanye did it on purpose to combine with the album's maximalism, but MBDTF is headache-inducing at times. Agreed with the Back to Black mention above too.
