A lady is always a woman. A woman is not always a lady. It's more behavior. A lady is a type of woman.  Not being a lady can mean being a mean woman, a loud woman, a messy woman. Not being a lady does NOT mean being a man. And since Emma said Angelica was "being mean" (Angelica's own recollection of events) she was talking about behavior not gender.  Like I wrote in the other thread, "the opposite of woman is man but the opposite of lady is not gentleman." And when people say a woman is not acting "lady like" it doesn't mean they are acting like a gentleman. 

 

So stop trying so hard to bring that user down for arguing with someone that doesn't even know the difference between lady and woman.

Absolutely not. This is just a misunderstanding that could have been avoided with a simple question. "Emma, what did you mean by that?" And if you look back far enough you'll see I'm a huge fan of Angelica.
