Are you really expecting a black trans woman to fight a cis white woman and think it'll go in her favor at all? Especially AT A WORKPLACE? By the way, it doesn't make any sense to talk about not having the time to sit and complain when you're babbling on and on contradicting just that.  Sat on your lunch break, red in the face, fuming at people for being put off by transphobia. Thank god phones don't come with physical keyboards anymore because yours would have half of the buttons punched out since you're such a FIGHTER!  Give us a break, tough one.

It should have been clarified by now by Rotunda that there was zero intent to mock or belittle the other person's experience with depression rather than engage in the thread. If I had to take a guess, I'd say Emma said SOMETHING inappropriate. Maybe as a joke, maybe not. It was exaggerated by Angelica, but not entirely untrue, so they came to a middle ground "settlement" that instead of Emma fighting it or suing for defamation, she'd let it go by NOT having to apologize on her account with a bigger platform because:

 

1. Suing Angelica whether the claim was accurate or not wouldn't make her look any better 

2. Prolonging any issue would only keep it in the news longer

3. She actually did say something that could be taken offensively even if not exactly what Angelica said. So she'd at some point still have to admit she said something wrong even if it wasn't what was accused.

 

 

Now Angelica has gotten her 5 seconds of notoriety, Emma "acknowledged" the scandal without actually having to do any public apology, and the whole thing will go away in 2 days. It doesn't really add up (to me). I don't think it's as black and white as people are trying to make it seem. Her apologizing on Emma's behalf is extremely strange. 

Or Emma just deals with her stuff privately and Angelica felt like there was no reason to keep this story going since she got her apology.

In the video posted about “transphobia on set” from years ago, did those people come out to back Angelica’s claims? When that Glee girl got accusations thrown at her, multiple people came forward to say it was true and she was terrible. Has the same happened here? Surely if she said this so boldly on set SOMEONE had to have heard her to back up the claim. 
 

Sorry but if this whole ordeal doesn’t seem even a bit shady then idk what to tell you
