Since when do two wrongs make a right? This conversation isn't about Nicki, and I VERY much believe she was responsible for some of the hate train, although having an entire record label sign someone just to take you down is worthy of being bitter

Cardi has become too consumed with internet trolls and trying to make a hit... she should just go into the studio and make smth good, if it's organic it'll work out. She seems like she's too in her head these days and the pressure is getting to her which is a human response but if you want longevity you have to learn to tune it out.

She doesn't have her finger on the pulse. I don't know if it's her label not investing in the album because they don't believe in its marketability and or Cardi keeps scrapping records and releasing what she thinks sounds good out there in order to see what sticks. 

 

At this rate she's going to lose relevancy for her second album, and that's ok. She needs to release it from the vault, get it over with, and get working on that third album that will get her back on top. I feel for her, you can tell she loves what she does, but the sound isn't there mama.

She's gonna end up bringing one upon herself for real  The only people obsessed enough to hate her right now are Nicki fans. Like girl, you're underperforming because you're not releasing anything good. At this point album #2 needs to be FIRE or she'll get left behind and I think she knows that but isn't doing anything about it...

I think the problem is that she doesn't have good material to put an album out because she's had momentum after IOP, so it's not like people weren't checking on her, and Up and WAP were hits. 

 

The thing with rappers is that they're very hit or miss when it comes to music but the one thing that they should always do is to keep their name out there which is something Cardi hasn't done much.

I'm rooting for Cardi, but she's been letting the hate get to her too much lately. Like she's rich, she still gets hits when she releases, and she's still arguably one of the biggest female rappers atm, but she always lets the nobody haters on social media get to her. Just keep releasing smashes and ignore them. That gets them more mad in the end anyway
