Citrus Posted September 3, 2017 Author Posted September 3, 2017 _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Episode 11 - The Entries Lola Cabezas Trainer Look Here is Lola traveling through the cold region of Sinnoh, serving a royalty on a journey. I got my main source of inspiration from Dawn's Platinum look. I was wondering what would a Princess wear traveling on her Pokemon Journey? Then I remember that actually happened in Pokemon Adventure's manga wear, Platinum, serves high class and regal. I always loved Sinnoh and I love winter fashion with fur, muffs and earmuffs. So I really loved going with this winter coat dress. The ear muffs are actually ones that I've made myself from my large selection of Chanel #3 inspired earmuffs. Of course no trainer is right unless she's well equipped for her travels with items and a bag to carry them. Sinnoh is so cold, so thigh high socks and a fur muff is essential for surviving the harsh cold of Mt. Coronet. I don't carry potions thought because I'm not a weak bitch. I serve Ace Trainer, one shot one kill. Elite Four Lola Battle Theme Elite Four Lola The Princess Of The Hex "Watch as you blackout before you even get to say your first attack. Are you scared of the dark? Prepare to know why they fear the night" Something wicked this way comes. I chose the Dark-type to give you my Elite Four look. As you climb up the staircase and finally enter my chambers, all you see is this empty room with a circle in the center of it scribbled with some writing. The lights begin to dimmer and from the circle Lola begins to rise from beneath the ground. She is giving you witch elegance, don't cross this woman of the dark arts and I hope you brought your best Pokemon because she is going to give you the battle of your life. Her ace Pokemon, Weavile, who she carries with her at all times on the edge of her broom stick is one wicked Pokemon. I really wanted to go with a Witch look for my Elite Four outfit, and what better type to represent that then Dark? I didn't want to make a ragged typical witch so I got my inspiration from Zelena and Regina from the Once Upon a Time Series who wear these beautiful dresses but still have the wicked flair to them. I didn't want to go to crazy with the make up or do anything sinister, because I feel like with a red lipstick and a fierce walk, you're the scariest thing of the night! Ace Pokemon For my Ace Pokemon, I decided to go with my favorite Bug-type Pokemon, Ribombee. Such a little Pokemon could inspire such a big look is shocking, but Ribombee's main focus being based around Pollen, considering its main attacking move is called "Pollen Puff" I wanted to use some type of flower-type bottom for the dress. While the type corset is designed after a butterfly that I think fit Ribombee perfectly, with the wings and the black trimmed edges. Of course Ribombee's trademark signature being its red scarf, I went just a simple red scarf around my neck that is stiff and shaped like it's always billowing. For my make up, I went again with the pollen motif that I started with the outfit and flowers, but using this color splash make up look, so it appears like I've got colorful pollen all over my face. Like a bee covered in it. The shoes I went with a simple gold cut shoe with the back of the heel featuring some wings, pulling the total look together. I am classy, regal and a fairy tale dream. Gladys Lorraine Warren Never did I ever think I'd make it to the ball. Not only do I get to do what has become my favorite part of the whole competition, the runways, but to get to do a Pokémon-themed ball had me jumping for joy. And although the pressure of being so close to the end really got to me this week, I managed to really turn it out and create some looks that I'm beyond proud of. And I didn't ask for an extension this time!!! First up, my Trainer look. For all of my looks but particularly this one, I wanted to emulate Ken Sugimori's style as best as I could. I'm a smalltown girl from Kanto, born and raised in Kalos, and of Alolan descent. I'm all about fashion and looking my best. Whether I'm shopping in Celadon or trekking through Rock Tunnel, I look good! I serve femininity and playfulness, but make no mistake: I'll beat your ass in a Pokémon battle without even messing up my wig. One of my partner Pokémon is Clefairy, who's been with me since I was a child. Fairy-types are rare in Kanto, and I take great pride in my little girl! My hat (and outfit in general) is also a subtle homage to her. Next, my Elite 4 look. Even though I'm of Alolan descent, I've always been partial to cold weather. After storming the Elite 4 of all of the different regions, I was approached to replace that old bitch Lorelei in Kanto's Elite 4. Ice by nature is a terrible type, but I always rise up to a challenge, and I want to prove that a frail and fragile type like Ice can still kick ass and be beautiful. Serving you Lizzie McGuire in Rome with my elaborate igloo couture cage dress, Elsa wishes she could be this sickening. Studded with snowflake sequins with a giant icicle crown, I am truly the Ice Queen. With me is my baby Cubchoo, who sits on a throne and watches me fight my matches. He loves to cheer me on and snot on my opponents when they lose. By the way, my team usually consists of Froslass, Mega Abomasnow, Wealive, Alolan Sandslash, and Lapras. Finally, my Ace look! I first met my Aegislash in Kalos when he was a tiny Honedge. He grew to be a wonderful partner to me and my strongest teammate, who helped me with all of my Elite 4 takedowns. I dedicate this look to him. I wear a dress covered in sequins and shiny scales, to illuminate my dress and give the illusion of metal. I wear Aegislash's shield as a hat with a veil, to give me a ghostly air of mystery. Along with a Dusk Stone emblem on my chest, I strive to show my inner strength, poise, and royalty. With me is one of the many perfect baby Honedges that I breed and trade to the lessers. This was so unbelievably fun and I truly hope you all enjoy!!! Faye Shull Quote Trainer Fashion Pokémon world, here I come! Here's my Trainer Fashion where Faye is just starting her Pokémon journey with only her starter on hand. This look to me feels very much like a quintessential female Pokémon main character. I've got a pouch for my items and a Z-ring on my arm, the look is athletic, got a dynamic yet simple colour scheme, and it screams adventure. I took inspiration from May (of Gen III) as well as the female leads of Pokémon Ranger with my getup because I want to look like I'm ready to spring to action. This is a Pokémon journey after all . For the longest time in the main series I wanted the playable female Trainer to have long free flowing hair. We just had girls with those damn hats on until Gen VII finally gave us the option to take them off. Sadly the clothing customization options weren't really the tea for me so what I have designed is my kinda girl. Game Freak make it happen. Elite Four Realness (Psychic Type) If you saw this coming I guess you're psychic too! I looked at what Psychic type users of the Elite Four wore and pinks or purples were prominent. Caitlin for instance. With this in mind I created my look. I'm serving you beauty with a hint of sex. I didn't want to be too heavy handed with the whole "I'm the Psychic type user!" but I included the Psychic type symbol on the coat. Other than that I just wanted to serve fashionista whose a skilled Pokémon trainer, because I'm in the Elite Four bitch. Ace Pokémon Eleganza Guess who? Giratina is my favourite Pokémon. There was no way I was not going to pick him as my ace. For this look I have chosen Giratina's Origin Forme in particular. Of course there is another influence here. Buckle in for a bit of an essay! In the main series Giratina is a member of the creation trio of Sinnoh, representing antimatter. He resides in the his home, the Distortion World, which is said to be another universe or world parallel to the Pokémon world. His Pokédex entry from Platinum states: "It was banished for its violence. It silently gazed upon the old world from the Distortion World" With this and what I have said before in mind many fans call Giratina the Satan of the Pokémon universe. When I think of Satan, or the Devil rather, I don't immediately think of the classic Christian depiction of him. I think of Devil from the Tekken series. From there I then think of Devil Jin and finally, Devil Kazumi. Kazumi, in her regular human state and devil form served as the other key influence I mentioned. I took Kazumi's aesthetic and Giratina's Origin Forme and married them together into one look. I'm a Japanese Empress ready to strike down her foes and I'm imposing and menacing, just like Giratina. Closing Thoughts: Hide contents All my looks for the PokéBall were created by me via pixel art. I tried to emulate Ken Sugimori's style to an extent but as you can see this is still distinctly my artstyle. When I came up with possible looks in my head I knew it would have been difficult to put them together with clothing found online so that's when I settled on using my art skills. I'm extremely happy I took this route though. I've only used my pixel art in small instances throughout the both seasons I've competed in so with this being the last main challenge it felt right to finally go all in with it. Remember that all my runway looks have been resized for ATRL (unless Citrus f**ks up formatting) so if you want a closer look just open the image url in another tab. As a final wrap up I don't know how you drawing queens cope making looks all the time cause doing this was STRESSFUL. I was on my laptop for almost a full day straight creating just my Ace Eleganza. MY EYES STILL HURT. With all that said though, this was such a fun challenge. When I was designing my Trainer Fashion for instance I kept thinking back to when I was a young boy playing Pokémon Ruby and wishing I could create my own custom trainer. It was fulfilling yet nostalgic thoughts like that throughout this entire challenge. I even found myself getting nostalgic about this season as a whole. I'm honestly gutted it's almost over. The way this game brings out my passion is insane. I don't want to get too sentimental though so time for me to listen to the Pokémon series soundtrack and remissness. Bye and thanks for reading! Noah Fence 欢迎来到肥胖 Kanto, Sinnoh, Alola? Been there, done that. Welcome to Noah Fence’s new Pokémon region, 肥胖 or Feipang! (translation: obesity) Feipang is based loosely on Shang dynasty China. For the Poké Ball, Noah Fence has put together three looks that you might see in Feipang; a young up-and-coming Pokémon trainer, an intimidating Elite Four member and a couture-inspired look by a pokémon found in Feipang. 酸甜苦辣 Ni hao, ****ers! For this Pokémon trainer look I decided to go for classic Noah Fence androgyny, and I’m giving you opulent teen that left his stable family to explore the world and catch ‘em all. I’m wearing a cute, cream-colored, long Chinese coat (my boyfriend is modelling <3) which I’ve buttoned up all the way, and oriental red silk pants (those are pants). My hair is a modern take on the classic Chinese men’s ponytail, and my shoes are a comfortable and easy red and cream. I have this neat geometric red makeup on my eyes to match the red of my pants. On my back, I’m wearing an enormous closed-up fan on my back like a bow-and-arrow, an addition that’s both campy and fashion-forward. I’m carrying a traditional-looking Chinese bag full of rare candy and poppers. And, of course, I’ve got a Pokéball in my hand. I’m ready to walk through some tall grass! 龙争虎斗 For my Elite Four look, I’m feeling my dragon fantasy! I come down the runway in a scaly green (seen as gold here) top with big shoulders and a cut in the middle to show some tasteful(?) sideboob. I’m also wearing black pants and these gorgeous green booties. I’ve got green scale gloves on my forearms, bright red nails that almost look talon-like and a big green dragon mask from one of those lion dance Chinese New Year dragons covering my entire head. As I walk down the runway I throw the mask off my head, revealing my face. I’ve got a Chinese-looking sharp bowlcut, creepy pale makeup and eyes that are completely blacked out. I then show off one of my special skills: using the stick (http://www.oddballs.co.uk/images/henrys-fire-eating-stick.jpg) in my hand, I start blowing and breathing fire (https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f8/40/ff/f840ffa85157633ee3ef0abafa31c398.jpg)! No one is beating this gym leader henny. 莫名其妙 For my Ace Pokémon look, I’m doing an Asian couture take on eeveelotuion pokémon Umbreon. My geometric kimono-like dress is the statement of this outfit, and its sheer black accessorized by yellow-gold Chinese-character-esque designs matches the black and yellow-gold of Umbreon. I’ve got red contacts in just like Umbreon and my deep black lip brings out that dark-type essence. My wig is more understated to balance out the craziness of the garment, but it’s still sleek and gorgeous, and on the opposite side from where my wig dips down I have gold around my eye. Around my neck I have this beautiful gold couture choker. I’m wearing gold nails over my gloves because this is ****ing drag, and to match Umbreon’s rings I have gold bangles on my arm. I am serving leveled up with a Moon Shard REALNESS. 再见丑陋的人
