But in all fairness, english music videos don't accumulate views the way they used to. Even the biggest hits have a hard time reaching the hundreds of millions. On top of that, OMG kinda flopped so no wonder why the view count on YouTube stalled

Adele always brings the heat with her lead singles views wise. 

 

“Hello”broke the 24h VEVO record back in 2015 (27.7M) and then she surpassed herself with “Easy On Me” 2 years ago (+40M in 24 hours). Although, she didn’t break the 24 hour record the second time around, she still had the biggest 24 hours debut for a solo artist in 2021. 
 

The former took around 4 days to reach 100M views and the latter around 7 days .
