burninredhot Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 She should take the stripped down route with her next album (like ASIB soundtrack). Enough of the over produced dance club songs (like chromatica)
Rotunda Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I think she’s lacking inspiration. With Artpop, Joanne, and Chromatica it’s clear that she’s trying to come up with these elaborate backstories and rationales for why she’s doing what she’s doing, just for the material to be kinda “whatever”. I think part of the benefit of her doing acting, or releasing music based off these movies, is that she can do all these deep dives into these characters and give these strong performances, but someone else is giving her the base material to jump off of. 2

FinleyGates Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 I’d love a whole lot less belting and more focus on melismatic pop singing and songwriting
HappierJealousy Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 The problem of Gaga music career since BTW is she either made boring music that nobody cares (like Joanne and those jazz albums) or making unlistenable noise based on her own delusional world that no one else can understand (probably even herself too) like Artpop and Chromatica. And I high doubt if she is able to pull it off considering she is almost 40 and her label won’t support her music project with high budget anymore 1

I swear y'all have early onset dementia or something with the historical revision happening.
