Well, most CEOs think like that but wouldn't say it out loud. Corporations and those in charge have never cared about reducing unemployment because they need it in order to get the working class to accept exploiting jobs out of fear

I'd love to that his theory out. I wish everyone who works for him would just quit, everyone down to the janitors. We'll see who actually needs who.

Honestly, though, people really don't know how to sacrifice and stand up for a cause anymore. So many of these businesses, and ignorant CEOs, would crumble if everyday workers just stood up to them and demanded better wages, benefits, etc. and went on strike until they got it.

I used to be in retail management, probably a far cry from whatever his industry is, and it wouldn't take much to disrupt an operation to where you get corporate's attention to where they start scrambling.

Between this and the Hollywood executives saying they wanted writers to lose their homes and aparments so the strike is over, hopefully some people realize the real war is between the 1% and the rest of us.

I mean kudos to him for finally saying the quiet part out loud (governments want people to be poor so they can seize corporate power over them) but also anybody who's ever worked a job and seen how unlivable life is after rent, groceries, gas, taxes, etc., already knew this. The only token I can think of giving him for such honestly would be hiring a hitman, but sadly assassinators seem to be the most unemployed these days.

The nerve of saying this as a property developer. :rip:

Okay sis, hit up the nearest Home Depot and start purchasing some 2x4’s and nails since you don’t need the employees, and they’re the ones that need you. Let’s see how far you get!

In all seriousness though, we need to bring back the guillotines. Many rich people have the same mindset as this man, but they’re smart enough to not say it out loud.

there could be a "National Go on Strike Day".   Or global, but I doubt that would happen.  But if a "national go on strike day" went viral enough and got big enough and made every news outlet and stuff like that, it might actually do something.

The thought process of saying something like this is really dark and scary

I mean y'all will see something like this and yet still act like the system we have is not the problem and can be reformed so what gives?

I know for a fact that some posters in this thread are not leftists/anti-capitalists and yet are in here angry over a capitalist saying the quiet part out loud. The cognitive dissonance is astonishing and the lack of education is just sad.

But maybe y'all will finally use that anger to address something, including and especially your own selves and the things you've been fed your whole lives. The longer you wait, the harder it gets. Here's to hoping.

This is the same guy who said millennials can’t afford to buy a house because they spend all their money on avocado on toast. Anyway, bring back the guillotine.
