What do you think of this? Do you think it's ethical to say they're not paid but they really are?

how do we really know they are getting paid tho? we can't 100%

also, is Bidenomics viable? Will it restore the economy to a certain degree?

The guy literally shows you one of them got paid $200,000 by the DNC. The other is working for an agency that's being paid by the DNC.

Imo it should be illegal to do any campaign whether for president or for brands without informing that you're getting paid to do it.

Worry about Prisoner Trump reaching his 100th criminal charge any day now.

When our two choices in 2024 will be someone with one foot in the grave and another with one foot in a prison cell, we are doomed

they both have been doing those things way before getting paid so might as well since the dnc seemed to think so.

The fact that there are many people of voting age who only consume and accept information from TikTok is a reason why we ended up here. Paid shills everywhere.

It speaks to the Democratic Party that they chose two white dudes cause they only actually hope to speak to other white dudes who may vote Republican and convince them to go with Biden while the actual base doesn't even get the shitty tiktok marketing cause the DNC expects those votes to automatically happen without needing to make any policy promises to that base of voters.

It’s unethical. Find another way to promote your campaign, Joseph.

Ehhh, necessary evil.

Conservatives have a direct line of recruitment with young men via red pill content which is literally unavoidable and heavily promoted on most social media platforms.

Why would I worry about that? I don't care about her.

Especially when in one of the clips, they actively claim that they're not being paid by anyone. :skull:

All forms of advertisement should be labeled as such, period. If there's money involved, it should be made clear.

The problem/grey area is that they can say they were paid for 'consulting services' and not for content creation. Which could be true (or not!).

Y’all are acting like this is new. Campaigns on both sides have been unethical for decades, long before most of us and even our parents were ever alive. It isn’t changing anytime soon. And as far as unethical goes, this is mild at best.

I follow that Harry guy.  I like him a lot.  I could care less if he's getting paid cuz he should!  He speaks facts.

I don't think most people's criticisms are about if it is ethical. Most people, even those who support their tiktoks, think it's obvious the Biden admin and DNC pay them.

The larger issue is what it means that the DNC thinks this is the best type of outreach to do and what such poor understanding of their base implies about how poorly they're ready for elections:

Most people can't afford their groceries because "the economy is good" yet the actual prices of good are not going down due to corporate greed, yet the idea is that a rich teen in an Audi will speak to the average independent voter?

Oh I agree with you but I was more responsing to those here and on social media who’re directly criticizing the fact that these TikTokers are not disclosing that it’s a paid ad and presenting it as content made of their own volition.

I agree with you on everything you said though.
