Michael196 Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 (edited) Quote Many movies have shifted out of the way on the theatrical release calendar seeing the Swift concert film as a Marvel typhoon. One of the big tentpole shifts came from Universal’s reboot The Exorcist: Believer, which was originally scheduled to open on Oct. 13, and now it’s going on Oct. 6. Today, A24’s wide release of Priscilla moved from Oct. 27 to Nov. 3, which is the “last” weekend of the Taylor Swift concert movie. Last is in quotes because word is out there that theater chains can play it longer. Edited September 9, 2023 by Michael196
PoisonedIvy Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 Not 3 movies moving their release dates

suburbannature Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 This isn't really accurate. The film was planned to have limited release on Oct 27th (NY/LA) but it's now opening wide on November 3rd after its unexpected success at the Venice Film Festival. Sofia Coppola films (or any smaller, independent film) always open with a limited NY/LA run first. 2

gagacasanova Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 See when you're the entertainment industry...

byzantium Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 She has no respect for the dead. Elvis worked hard so that the movie, Pricilla, would have a release date in a month without a Taylor swift film release.

Gladiator Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 This is simply not true. I saw Elvis in a gas station.
Taylor fanboy Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 We are robbed of ExorSwift vs. MegElvis
Europe Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 They can play around with the release date as much as they want, that movie is going to flop anyway. No one cares about Elvis's wife that much and a movie made about her is wholly unnecessary.
Tusk Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) No Austin Butler, no hit. Sorry, Priscilla Edited September 9, 2023 by Tusk
