Not Yinrun in jail by breaking nomination rules :rip:

The Noky, Olivia and Paul thing is boring and I personally don't think it needed as much airtime as it's got. :skull: Too much energy from all parties over literally what? :skull: What a drag, lmao.

Agreed, the drama the last two episodes has been so boring I can barely pay attention to what's happening. I'm kind of warming to Jenkin being sick of everyone though.

Curious what Yinrun said that was explicitly a rule break. It surely couldn't have been the conversation between her and Trish since Trish isn't in jail? According to twitter one of her noms was;

Hallie. And since her nominations have been revoked it's gonna change her being up for nomination.

It's a popularity contest. It airs daily, so you get a highlights show. Every week, they usually participate in tasks for a couple of days for a shopping budget. Housemates and the audience can attribute playing up to the cameras/disingenuous as game playing to gain public support. Each week they all nominate 2 housemates for eviction. Top 2 vote receivers face the public vote, but it could be more if there are ties.

oh thats interesting. so the ppl in house nominate ppl for eviction then the country decides who goes home? does the winner usually get famous afterwards or something?

a handful of contestants in the early 2000s became celebrities in their own right or have established careers in showbiz to this day. not sure that the biggest names were winners though.

alison hammond is a big tv presenter nowadays.

jade goody (RIP) was a big tabloid star and practically a household name.

Aisleyne was a tabloid star.

Nikki Graham (RIP) was a meme before memes even existed and is STILL an actual meme to this day.

the tabloid girlies were kind of a product of their time tho. trashy newspapers and magazines were big back then and they stayed famous by doing very little.

Yeah, the country decides who goes home. And I don't live in the UK, so I am not really sure? Maybe at one point when the show was really big, but I would assume it's similar to winning the show here.

Honestly, I'm surprised we've gotten completely different people up for eviction every week. I like the variation.

Hallie clocking Tom's chicken livered ways. :clap3: Get Dylan out!

Dylan is boring and annoying while Hallie is moany and annoying so happy for either of them to go. It's always interesting to see if crowd noise impacts the nominations so I'm a bit surprised that Kerry didn't get many this week, though it was noticeable that Jordan didn't have any after having a few last week.

Welp, voted for Dylan, get him out!

I need to catch up on last nights episode!

Out of the three i'd rather Dylan leave!

I love Trish so i'd like her to stay.

anyone else starting to genuinely feel bad for henry and thinking jordan is being a bit vindictive and just generally a bad person to him?

we're literally watching someones heart being broken in real time on tv :rip:

Jordan's "I have no emotions/feelings" will get tired

I truly don't think the love triangle stuff is all that deep. Jordan still spends most of his time with Henry on the live streams but they don't really show that on the main shows.

Posted

Notice how Jenkin was joking about Jordan and Henry getting married and now Hallie is saying she had do idea about Jordan and Matty even being a thing... the edit is really overplaying the Jordan/Matty of it all

I'm just glad Trish was saved.

I really couldn't get into Hallie. She was a wannabe Nikki Grahame with her tantrums.

Also, I totally see and get where Trish and Noky come from with how they behave. They moderate their behaviour so they don't get the stereotypical jabs. Yet people still call them out for it in nominations when they're being modest.

Chanelle came across quite two-faced this episode. She really meant it when she said she wouldn't be honest to everyone.

The kissing task was quite fun and was a good way to show everyone's personality.

I think even though Hallie had her annoying moments, I didn’t think she’d go. I don’t see how Dylan equates to being more entertaining in a TV setting than her, but I guess that’s not the way everyone votes.

I’m not bored of the Jordan/Matty/Henry thing nor do I think it’s changing my opinion on any of them either, because I don’t think it’s actually effecting their relationships since they’re still continually spending time with each other. Once it gets tiring for viewers though they’ll stop giving it so much of a large edit.

Can’t wait for Paul’s downfall next week too. :lmao:

It's the same thing every season same with USA. People will find a reason to dislike black women. Trish is no more blunt or loud or confrontational than Olivia but which one got five noms vs one nom? If anything Trish has been very reasonable in any of her small disagreements. And i'm still VERY confused as to why she's getting the blame for the sexism topic during the ants task when it was Olivia who brought it up? Dylan's anger she mentioned inclusivity didn't sit right with me. As for Noky, she isn't confrontational but can still stand her ground yet the whole house hates her? It's reminding me of Taylor Hale from BBUSA. There's this weird jealousy thing when black pageant girls get cast. I don't see a fake bone in her body yet that's all people accuse her of being. If anything Noky and Chanelle are very similar in personality but Chanelle doesn't have a single hater in the house, hm wonder why. I'm so tired of watching the same obvious patterns unfold season after season. The only shocking thing is that Trish didn't go home and that's only because she was nominated against obnoxious characters. If I can recall correctly when I first started watching this series, Gina Rio was the first black woman to survive an eviction since Makosi and before that they always went home the second they were nominated. I dare anyone to tell me with a straight face that if Olivia was black she wouldn't be nominated this week. Also Paul is a racist idc and the british public love stupid twats like him. The white males on this show can get away with anything.

I was starting to warm up to Chanelle until that moment. She's so weird. I need someone to really push her buttons so the claws can come out face to face. Also she needs to learn how to hide her extensions better.

  1. I don't know how you guys feel about Jordan but he's hilarious. He reminds me of Simon Cowell. The way he pretends to have no emotions and avoid talking about himself or his feelings is so comedic. I know exactly what he's doing. He can't handle Matty rejecting him so whenever the conversation comes up he ends it quickly. I find it entertaining and I hope they get a shag in before the finale but I don't think Matty is into him and probably needs permission from his boyfriend first.

Not me spamming but I also have to say the announcement of Yinrun breaking the rules was the best moment of the season. The way everyone had a serious look on their face to shock to confusion and then laughter. I replayed it several times.
