People probably would prefer to see Katy Perry sing from a giant toilet in Vegas than her pretend to be a jazz singer? Maybe Gaga should find a nice 500-seat theatre in Florida to do a residency.

I honestly didn’t expect she would bomb like this in the new leg of Jazz & Piano, considering she immediately sold out all the shows in the past legs. Not to mention that Chromatica Ball was a big success. So how and why did she decline so much since just last year?

I think you should be less concerned about the presumed failures of a global megastar, and more with the trajectory of your own life. Gaga is first and foremost a pop music-making singer-songwriter which she does brilliantly at. Jazz Lady Gaga is nothing more than a side-hustle / successful hobbie and the genre itself is very niche, so I expect that ticket sales will pale in comparison to the pop music she excels at making.

In the last 3 years, she's had two US hits in Stupid Love (#5) and Rain On Me (1) and she's won four Grammys (A Star Is Born, I'll Never Love Again, Rain On Me and Love For Sale) in 2020, 2021 and 2022. In 2023, she got nominated for another Oscar / Academy Award and has a sold-out tour.

It's been 3 years since Gaga has released a solo album and she should be releasing a lead single in the next few months to early next year. She's featured on the lead single of the next Rolling Stones album and has a ton of music coming out in 2024 with "The Joker 2" and a new solo album.

We don't want to see her wailing the same 4 hits she has

The Fame: Just Dance, Poker Face, Love Game, Paparazzi

The Fame Monster: Bad Romance, Telephone, Alejandro

Born This Way: Born This Way, Judas, The Edge of Glory, You & I

Artpop: Applause

Joanne: A Million Reasons

A Star Is Born: Shallow

Chromatica: Stupid Love, Rain On Me

Last time I checked 16 hits is a lot more than 4 hits.

the jazz gig is more of a casual show, like..I doubt even many stans are gonna fly out to Vegas just to see her sing jazz even though she throws in some of her hits

Well, wbk.

If she really know what her fans wants, she would've revived ENIGMA, or better yet extension of Chromatica Ball, not that the Jazz shows that she personally love so much but not many of her core fans does. Most of the ones that did already seen it in early days of this residency, the rest, well, they're living far from Vegas and not fortunate enough to go.  :gaycat2:

If she knows what her fans wants, she wouldn't be in migraine pills advertising to begin with.

I wonder which day you chose to screenshot that because i'm certain it isn't today.

Anyways It's nice of you to dedicate the time to think about this and make the thread.
