Are gay couples supposed to be equal, or are they supposed to mimic 1950s straight couples? Are tops meant to be the breadwinners and bottoms the stay at home partner?

Feminism fought for this to not be the norm for a reason. It’s dehumanizing, dismissive, and disrespectful to the equality of partners in a relationship. If straight people don’t even ascribe to this anymore why the hell would we?
