"Vampire" is the highlight of 2023

Such an incredible song. Lyrically, production wise and visually. The way it was written is genius. The transitioning in the song is another highlight which makes this great song even better.

She's such an incredible artist. And I have to say that she truly saved this year musically for me as we've had very underwhelming releases so far.

Never been a fan of hers but I'm definitely looking forward to her album now.

Flowers sweetie.

Cruel Summer sweetie.

I remember everything sweetie.

It's not even top 3 of the year.

It's a cute song but really underwhelming.

I'm afraid the options you mentioned above do not compare to vampire's artistry.  Especially pleasant winter. Not sure what that even was tbh

No one's doing pop like Olivia I'm afraid :michael:

Lol no. You couldve written a praise novel in its thread.

It wasn't even the highlight of the day it came out, and I like Olivia.

It’s a good song but there’s so much better music released this year

I’m reading this thread and I literally have no clue what you’re talking about. Vampire is probably one of the most underwhelming first singles I’ve heard in a while and that’s coming from someone who loved Sour. Nothing about it is imaginative or new, it’s the same old sound from her and so far with this new era I haven’t felt any artistic growth from Olivia. All she’s trying to do is repeat Diver’s License > Brutal rollout and I find it extremely safe. Music Video is cute but again - nothing groundbreaking. Bad Idea’s video is MUCH better.

Imagine thinking Bad Idea Right? is safe:rip: It's one of the most daring singles released by a MPG.

It's ok. Greatness is highly overlooked and underappreciated. And I disagree with everything you've said. This song is pop heaven at its finest. The lyrics are very deep and meaningful and real. Her singing technique and transition is impeccable. I wasn't actually a big fan of her earlier releases as much except for "good 4 u" because let's be real who wasn't a fan of that?

She has just cemented her place in pop with this. I really can't wait for the album. And again couldn't disagree more. Everything about this release is unique and artistic.
