Yeah this moment basically redefined her career. Even just the way she was spoken about and regarded in media changed significantly overnight, especially coming just after the Artpop era. ASIB also was a career re-defining moment for her, but you can trace back the huge wave of respect she gained from the GP and the media to this performance.

It’s not like that version of gaga was going to last anyway otherwise fans and the gp would’ve supported artpop.

I knew it would be this performance. I remember how surprised everyone was by this performance. Everyone's memories of Gaga up till that point were the theatrics from the Artpop era and her fashion moments. This changed that for sure.

There's only one of Gaga's peers who could pull this off vocally. She's a once in a generation talent.

 

This opened the door for her to march into any corner of the entertainment industry and be respected by the establishment.
