Love Megan, like Cardi, enjoy WAP, was so hyped for this, was rooting so hard for them.

 

But gosh, this song is absolute trash.

The video on the other hand is such an absolute serve in all departments that it just makes me hate the song even more. This video deserves an actual song Ughhhhh.

I like this, especially Megan's parts, but why is there no hook...?  This isn't catchy and doesn't get stuck in your head because of the lack of hook.

 

Also, I know WAP is an impossible standard to live up to, but I was hoping for another iconic line or two like the Mack truck and dangly thing lines.  Cardi's ghostwriters let her down

On more listens/watches:

 

-The song is definitely catchy, and hits harder on quality earphones. 

-The video is incredible. No one does it like Cardi, and she's clearly Lil Kim's fashion/lewks heir. 

-Megan. MEGAN I want her to step on me and run me over, and then stab me. 

 

I think I prefer Megan here to WAP, but I prefer Cardi on WAP. WAP is a very different song and I like how they definitely did not try to recreate it. 

 

Tons of fun quotable. My favourites

 

-The shoes getting kicked off, for unrelated funny reasons. I'm sure some JUMPED to a protective wall when that shoe flew. 

-The migos line. 

-Tight as a nun  people are going to be YELLING this one out.

-My Little Ponies

-Ms Pacman my favourite bar in the song.

-The fall off line is also so fun

 

They DEFINITELY needed a chorus though. Cardi's bits kinda serve as one, but not enough... Megan sucks at good hooks, but Cardi usually has nice ones so I'm confused what happened here.

it's too one note with cardi's one rap style and the 'bong' voice through out the song. it got real stale and boring quick (untill meg's came through).

 

this might work if it had another rap girl on it to give more flavour alongside cardi. like the first minute would be so much better.
