The song feels so flat to me like it feels like it's gonna explode but it never happens  and the instrumental is trash too.  and Cardi's voice is really off-putting at some parts

This is a lot of fun. Love that it sounds different to what they've both done in the past and I think it will grow on me.

 

The video is amazing omg. They both look incredible and all those colours really pop

I honestly don’t get the praise for the video. Yeah, they look drop dead gorgeous but that’s a given. They’d be as stunning for a nightclub appearance. The video has no theme or cohesion unlike WAP, I like it, Press.  Even cheap video like Please Me had a through-line. Here we have a beach, mansion outdoor n poolside. Nil constructed set, zero creativity. The clown look in the promo image wouldve actually been a refreshing spin on their hypersexual images. 
 

In any case, I hope the song does whatever it needs to do to compel Cardi to release that darn sophomore LP.
