No. I think they realized we hated flop shiet. They read the comments. They were prepared. Also diddnt she say they had like 3 singles ready. They couldn’t decide which one to release im assuming all 3 had a music video ready as well. She said the video should be

I'm not nervous about it being mid, I'm just nervous about it being in the uncomfortable position of having to be compared to WAP. 

 

WAP is/was one of those giant songs that come once in a career. While Cardi, hilariously enough, has three diamond songs - none of which are WAP - the cultural AND commercial hold WAP had... I don't think they can capture again. If they do, it'd be flat out insane.

not anymore. since she's in her best form lyrically and she's said she's confident in her material (which is a first in her career) I think we're fine. the only thing it that it's going to be compared to WAP which is overwhelming for this to be compared to a career highlight.

had she doubled down on hot crap then yes but she gets that she can’t drown her solid verses with rants and rambles.
