That was really hard for me because they both are in my top 5 female discographies of all time. Also from an aesthetic pov of the banners, TB belongs where M's self-titled is. I notice both sets of album covers have almost a continuous color theme: Madonna with all the cool blue tones and Janet with all the warm reds and browns. On second thought, Madonna doesn't stick out as much because Janet has a bit of monochrome with RN and janet. as well.

Janet. It would have been equal if RoL and Music weren't on Madonna's list and maybe we had True Blue and Bedtime Stories in their stead.

 

I've never liked RoL or Music as much as her other records, even when they came out.
