With all the talks of her facing backlash and addressing these things in all of the songs released thus far, is it safe to say the GP is against her ala Taylor in 2017/reputation?

She is not that type of celebrity, if the song is catchy the GP will be on board otherwise she’ll get the attention treatment.

That's common for alot of celebrities pls + they were never her main audience so it doesn't effect her

What blacklash? people are just calling her corny, cringey with an 8th grader boy sense of humour, which are all true

Ok? People still think Beyoncé is a devil worshipper anytime she makes a hand gesture.

Taylor’s “backlash” involved multiple celebrity parties, so it was def a much bigger issue than Doja just being goofy and people clowning her.

I was speaking wrt the "i hate my fans" discourse. No one cares for that

I feel like Doja is being hated in a way Taylor never was. Taylor was just annoying to some people, Doja is trolling with “serious” stuff that is triggering a lot of people. But the thing is that Taylor is a way bigger star, so her hate train felt bigger, but I think Doja is being way more controversial and hated rn according to her star power, even her own listeners are dragging her (but they’re still listening)

I think this era for Doja is going to be what Bangerz was for Miley, she’s going to be very hated and made fun of, but people are still going to listen whatever she puts out.

Yeah, I think she has tried hard to create this conversation. She is talented and she has cool songs, but a lot of her persona is, like most artists', fabricated.

That's what rubs me the wrong way. Her music is quite good and I can totally vibe with that kind of narrative in the songs, but it feels like she is trying to create and force that narrative around the music to reflect the music itself. It's clear with her songs from Scarlet that that is the theme of it, in a way.

People doing conspiracy theories, means they cared enough to try connect imaginary points

Also, where did I say that the backlash is on Reputation level

I said that people Did care.

But here go do downvote army again @My Tears Ricochet

Taylor was silent on reputation era, Doja is different. I would agree on the BANGERZ comparison.
