popularmoonlight Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 The only complaint I have about this is that I wish the lyrics were a lil more mature somehow. I don’t know how to explain. But I needed her quirky side into some more dark sided lyrics. That would be dope and hope she delivers this in another track. 1

I can’t remember the last time probably it was with up this is already doing more views on YouTube than the first day
magazine Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Love the 2nd verse, the rest of the song is okay But it gave us an amazing video, so all is fine
My20sBlues Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 The video practically made the same views as its debut day on its second day, which is a good sign. 2

I love it. 😩🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Even the childish-voice of the first verse makes sense now after listening to it straight from PTTR. and in the context of the album it’s the PERFECT track #2. Jude Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 The production on this is insane. Her delivery is dope ngl. Lyrically it's weak, however.
selena_lavigne Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 (edited) Not Doja saying she quit nicotine while i'm contemplating it. Edited September 3, 2023 by selena_lavigne 1
La Reina Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Not feeling this one at all. "Paint the Town Red" is the savior of this era
NumbSoul Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Considering the low debut, I thought it would plummet from there, but so this is a good update - it's pretty stable, especially in the US! 1
BGood2Me Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 And it did almost 2 million views on the 2nd day (YT) 2
State of Grace. Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I love this, I just wish she went a little harder in the verses. The video is phenomenal and it really sold the song for me. Attention remains my fave but yeah she's 3/3 so far. Not Doja turning me into a fan during her obnoxious era. I hope the album actually doesnt disappoint
Dojas Attantion Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Serving stable smash promo single on Spotify. I hope it serves longevity. 1
illia Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 (edited) Just read the YouTube comments and oh lord the Christians are FUMING!!!!!! I had a great laugh reading it and I'm sure Doja did too Edited September 3, 2023 by Flomik 3 1
TiaTamera Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I actually like the song despite the title and theme. I think her “childish” flow makes the lyrics stick. 2
unino Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 She just didn't go for the typical spitting rap verse/hard rap ****. She's doing it her way, campy, fun, and tweaky which i do appreciate a lot. Like not many rap girls on an opportunity to fully bring their best work, best self out. Doja got it with this album and she's taking it. She's bringing something really interesting on the rap/pop scene and if you can't appreciate that then get lost. 7

I had a great laugh reading it and I'm sure Doja did too The thing that cracks me up is that Thriller was scarier than Doja video, imo…yet we adorn it as a favorite. Make it make sense, lol. I know he got his licks for it in the 80s too, but still…you would think we have progressed by now. 1
Virgos Groove Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 The beat is great, but the lyrics are just... not good whatsoever. Oh well, still better than PTTR.
monologueNacafe Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 This really could have been something great which makes it feel even worse that it’s not. Dnndnf 1 1
FELT Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Yeah, I still can't get into this. I feel like she's done fun/campy lyrics better on different songs. She only really started talking her **** on the 2nd verse (as she normally does), but by that time the song was already over. 2/3 on me for the singles. For what it's worth this will probably go crazy on tour.
X~MoviePoP Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Whats crazy is the verses are so fun to rap to with the windows down in your car driving. Its such a bop and fun. Especially if u do the voice switches with her. 8/10. 1. Pttr 2. Demons 3. Attention 4
dabunique Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 da best comment I heard in Demons was "what do u mean she's coming out of da fridge? dats supposed to be a safe space" lol 2
