chiliam Posted August 27, 2023 Posted August 27, 2023 Woa i just checked out the album cause his duet with my girl Kacey is amazing. And it was so good, and im shocked it was self written and self produced. The talent. This can snatch AOTY, they usually love to reward sole talent like that.
Renan90 Posted August 29, 2023 Author Posted August 29, 2023 TOP 20: ZACH BRYAN'S "SPOTLESS" BOW Warner’s Zach Bryan will open at #1 on Friday’s HITS Top 50, with his self-titled release besting the debut of previous album American Heartbreak, which opened at #5 in May of 2022. As a physical version of the album is not expected until later this year, Zach Bryan could see on-demand audio streams account for around 90% of its first-week activity. Reappearing in this week’s Top 20 are Tyler, The Creator’s CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST (Columbia), surging thanks to a fresh shipment of vinyl, and Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation (Columbia), which is reacting to her new single, "Used To Be Young." https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=337395&title=TOP-20%3A-ZACH-BRYANS-SPOTLESS-BOW

I don't know how much American Heartbreak sold, but thanks to SITO I expect him to sell more.

pride4jc1222 Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 “Warner’s Zach Bryan scores his first #1 on the HITS Top 50 with the debut of his self-titled LP. With no physical product, Zach Bryan tops the chart with 199k behind 230m+ first-week streams.“ Streaming counts way too low. 1M streams should equal 1k sales at the very minimum.

Streams don’t equal any amount of sales. A stream is a stream and a sale is a sale. Enough of this ridiculousness, Billboard. 1

Maybe they're mostly free Streams? But that would be very low even if free.
