That I dont know. Combs airplay being stronger at HAC & AC and weaker at/less T40 based than Last Night will help Fast Car last longer at radio. FC also had a higher MB AI peak, 100.60 v 96.75. Even when T40 pulls away, and if its quick like LN, FC wont plunge on AI cause of its AC/HAC/Country strength. AC & HAC hold onto their songs forever, love successful Country crossovers & AC loves 80s. With its fans increased use of streaming, now Country holds onto its biggest hits nearly as long as T40. Since LN & FC are 2 of Country's all time biggest hits, Country will keep playing both to keep listeners. So FC could hover around in the Top 5 for a while. EDIT: Part of me wonders if Fast Car is too long of a song for present day radio. In an era when stations want to keep songs around or under 3 mins, FC is over 4 & there's no radio edit available. I don't know if that's a problem but its definitely a very long song for late 2023. Edited September 1, 2023 by brianc33710 Fast Car long song
Mezik Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 I never thought in 2023 I’d be saying Kacey Musgraves has a number one Billboard Hot 100 hit. I’m so happy for her, she truly deserves this.
brianc33710 Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 This is strange. Don't we normally have the final Hot 100 predictions by now? We had the Global 200 very early this morning & even already have 16 Sep early predicts. EDIT: Clearly the Cruel Summer v Last Night finish is super close. That was why we waited.

ATRL Moderator supaspaz Posted September 3, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted September 3, 2023 So country has had a lock on #1 since the spring. I truly never could have predicted this era of the charts. 1 1
Nashe Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Kacey getting her long overdue revenge one of the best artists of ALL time!
Konril Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Album of the Year is not enough of a reward that Kacey deserved for Golden Hour. This #1 should compensate for that.
Maroonx Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 (edited) Glad Miley ended up Top 10 and Sel Top 20 oh Cruel Summer staying in the top 5 Edited September 3, 2023 by Maroonx
