There's worse shows out there, but 13RW definitely declined after season 1.

All that "study" did was to pinpoint that there was a rise in reported suicide in a period of time after the show came out, but suicides have been steadily increasing for years. You can claim that was caused by anything. There was no study linking those suicides with viewership of the show. Indeed like the link of gun violence with video games or rock music, people are scapegoating without actually addressing the issue.

I agree it did less good than bad, but S1 was very well written, the cast’s acting was great as well, and even tho the storyline had several things that should’ve been addressed and handled differently, it was very well done IMO. 

 

S2 was okay(?) but the finale building up to the shooting… PHEWWWW

 

S3 was bland and S4 was completely unnecessary. 

Yasss the shooting had me shook too tho...

 

Tbh, 13 reasons why shoulda just kept doing potential teen unaliving stuff every season, like a different one every season woulda been interesting...s4...made no sense.

no cuz season 1 was good, didn't finish season 2 and didn't start season 3 lmao, but i really liked season 1. 

the thing about 13rw is that it's not for everyone, and that's worrying. but seaosn 1 was for sure intriguing.

Season 1 was decent, from what I know it's more faithful to the book the show was based on. Other seasons are indeed bad and very cringeworthy

S1 and S2 were good, so, no. Nevertheless, S3 and S4 are a nightmare. Having this series only the last two seasons, it would be a contender, that's for sure.

The show wasn't for people who were big and grown enough, that's the point, it was very juvanile in everything bar the graphic content, it was a lot of people's first "encounter" with the topic of suicide which should be done carefully.

Not the worst but... I watched the first season cause I found the plot intriguing and was hoping for a positive message. However I remember being left pretty concerned about the way the show uses suicide as a weapon and treats topics like rape (i think it was?) and her friend ignoring her at school as equally awful and worthy of this whole tape thing.

 

Like... making such a serious issue into a Mean Girls burn book was really not the tea Needless to say I did not watch the other seasons and agree that it should have ended after the first one.

I never got the hate for this show. It's clunky at moments, but it's a fun watch. 

 

The worst show of all times was definitely Riverdale (after the first season).
